The Ricky Drawstring Bag Joins the Ralph Lauren Pink Pony Collection
By SENATUS News | 23 August 2015

Pink Pony is Ralph Lauren’s worldwide initiative in the fight against cancer, now in its 15th year. Its mission is to reduce disparities in cancer care in medically underserved communities and ensure that treatment is available at an earlier, more curable stage. In the United States, 25 percent of the purchase price of Pink Pony products benefits the Pink Pony Fund of the Polo Ralph Lauren Foundation to support programs for screening, early diagnosis, treatment, research and patient navigation. Internationally, a network of local charities benefits from the sales of Pink Pony products.

This fall, the small Ricky drawstring bag joins its larger cousin, the Ricky (see photo), in the Pink Pony collection. Each special-edition design is constructed in Italy from 40 pieces of rich calfskin and requires up to five and a half hours to create. The lightweight purse features a top handle and a cross-body strap that are both removable, allowing for versatile wear. A drawstring closure cinches at the back for a clean finish, and our signature logo-engraved lock accents the front flap pocket.
