SINGAPORE Continuous lines artist Joshua YANG presents 3 bodies of works, the first called 'Timepieces' which are mechanical drawings of various clocks and watches completed within 24hours, and drawn from memory in his signature continuous line.

The second series are larger works on Canvas, where his continuous line technique is done using white ink on a black-coloured canvas surface. These works took longer than 24hours. Abstract Works on Paper represent the third set of continuous-line creations by the artist. These works are smaller and look great in a set.

Joshua Yang will confine himself in his studio at the Marina Mandarin for 48 hours, and is only allowed a 5-minute break for every full hour of continuous drawing. The artist is attempting to break the Singapore Record as the “First Artist to Do a 48 Hour Marathon Drawing." The start of the 48hours will be marked by a Cocktail Reception at 6:30 pm, Tuesday 11th of December 2007 at the Marina Mandarin Hotel Atrium. Exhibition will continue until the 31st of January 2008.
