Live Nation is proud to announce that The Killers will be performing at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on Sunday, January 24, 2010 for their first ever show in Singapore.
The multi-platinum VMA Award-winning, Grammy-nominated band from Las Vegas, was formed in 2002 and blazed on the Indie scene in the year 2003 with their hit “Mr. Brightside”. The band consists of Brandon Flowers (vocals, keyboards), Dave Keuning (guitar), Mark Stoermer (bass) and Ronnie Vannucci (drums).
Part of the post-punk revival movement, The Killers draw their influences from music styles of the 1980s. Released in 2004, The Killers’ debut album “Hot Fuss” brought the band mainstream success and critical acclaim. Their second album, "Sam's Town", was released in 2006, and the compilation album Sawdust containing B-sides, rarities, and new material, was released in 2007. Their third studio album, "Day & Age", produced by Stuart Price, was released in 2008.
The Killers will be performing in Singapore for one night only.
