SENATUS Bags Silver in Best Online Magazine At 2012 Asian Digital Media Awards

At the 2012 edition of the Asian Digital Media Conference organized by the World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers (WAN-IFRA) attended by more than 350 executives in the Asian publishing industry, the highlight of the 3-day affair was the presentation ceremony of the now annual Asian Digital Media Awards (ADMA).

Recognizing excellence in the digital media space, which has since evolved from an emerging distribution and engagement platform to now an integral component of every publisher worldwide, the ADMAs serve as a widely respected and coveted measure of achievement and progress for websites across Asia Pacific and Middle East.

For the 2012 edition, SENATUS won the Silver Award in the Best in Online Media (Magazine) category, with the following key achievements:

  1. Best from Singapore
  2. Best in English magazines
  3. Best in the Luxury segment
  4. Best pure-play Online Publisher

"For us to once again be recognized as one of the top online magazines in Asia is truly humbling. When we first won the inaugural Gold Award in 2010, we set ourselves the target of improving our product offering and editorial quality all around - this is the result of two years of hard work," said Kien Lee, Managing Director of SENATUS.

2012 has been a great year for SENATUS, having also recently amassed more than 500,000 fans on Facebook (FB), the largest social media presence for a publication in all of Asia. Both the Silver award at the ADMAs and the FB fans are proud badges bestowed upon by industry peers and readers alike.
