HONG KONG Beijing-based artist LIU Xuejun uses hand forms on oil paintings as his artistic icons for messages he wishes to convey.
Liu uses these powerfully expressive hand gestures to reflect his sensitive observations of his environment and to communicate his opinions on life issues, to the point of depicting frustration, cynism and even anger.
'Speechless' will open in April at the Art Beatus Gallery in Hong Kong Central.
