Japan Creative Centre (JCC) hosts Dr Satoshi Onuma, President of Bunka Fashion College to deliver a lecture titled "THE FUTURE OF FASHION EDUCATION" at JCC.
Dr Onuma will be sharing his thoughts on the future of Fashion Education and the link between fashion design and sustainability. With globalization, designers are no longer designing for a domestic but rather a global market.
Just as their designs are making strides internationally, so do decisions made in design, be it the material, choice of labour to the manufacturing process have global impacts on sustainability.
Spots are extremely limited and RSVPs by August 12th have to be confirmed by the Japan Creative Center.
About the Speaker
Dr Satoshi Onuma has been serving as the President of Bunka Fashion College since 2009. He also presently sits on the board of various organizations namely as Board Director of The Society of Fashion Business, President of the Bunka Institute of Language and Executive Board Director, Bunka Gakuen Educational Foundation just to highlight a few.
