Longines continues its title partnership of the Longines Singapore Gold Cup, which returns for the fourth year on 17 November at the Singapore Racecourse.

With a prize-money of S$1.35million, the Longines Singapore Gold Cup is one of the most anticipated and prestigious races in the region and will see former Singapore President, Mr. S.R Nathan, as the guest-of-honour for a charity luncheon organized in conjunction with the event, to raise funds for Grace Orchard School, a social service programme under the care of Community Chest.

The Longines Singapore Gold Cup in 2011 raised a total of S$241,136 and in 2012, S$236,728 for the Chaoyang School. Longines Ambassador of Elegance, Aishwarya Ria Bachchan attended in 2012, while Hong Kong megastar Aaron Kwok represented the Swiss watchmaker in 2011.

Juan-Carlos Capelli, Vice-President of Longines and Head of International Marketing, commented on the upcoming crown jewel event in the Singapore turf scene, "Longines is honoured to be partner of the Singapore Turf Club and to present the Longines Singapore Gold Cup for the fourth time."
