Climate change is an issue that isn't going away. I am opening my contribution to this community by adding some thought provoking photographs of mine related to endangered and critically endangered species and images from unusual perspectives and remote parts of the world that show not only the beauty but also the fragility of our planet. As a photographer specialising in wildlife and nature photography, I am happy to be able to contribute here to help raise awareness about these important issues not just in time for the COP21 climate change talks coming up in Paris. It is extremely important that human kind acts urgently in a highly proactive way to prevent destruction of natural habitats and focus more on sustainable development ideas otherwise we risk not only destroying this beautiful planet with all the flora and fauna that exists on it, but also we risk the eradication of our own species. If we do not do something we are going to progressively starve ourselves of the very oxygen we need to breathe. The worlds forests and oceans need to be protected as this is the main source of the air that we breathe..
As a photographer specialising in wildlife and nature, I feel a responsibility to give a voice to animals who cannot speak. Passing on information from a dying planet. All we have to do is listen and hopefully through the power of photography, I can help bridge the gap that is growing between humans and the rest of nature and the planets natural resources. We must stop destroying and start doing things in a more sustainable manner. Otherwise ultimately the only way humans will survive as the last remaining beings on this planet will be by colonising other worlds!
