Chopard is holding an exhibition at the TianQu Garden (天趣园) showcasing the 20 year history of its L.U.C. manufacture, bringing visitors back to the beginning when it first launched its haute horlogerie piece in 1997 up to present day, with over 20 in-house calibers produced so far.
The highlight of the 2-day exhibit, exclusive to invited guests of the brand, featured two timepieces for the Beijing customers -- the first being the L.U.C. Time Traveler One Special Beijing Edition and the second, a unique pièce, the L.U.C. Perpetual T Chinese Zodiac. These join the already impressive line-up including the hugely popular L.U.C. XP Urushi, the new L.U.C. XPS line as well as the 2017' 'Aiguille d'Or' winning L.U.C. Full Strike.
Attending the opening gala to mark the occasion was actor/director Donnie Yen, hosted by Chopard co-President Karl-Friedrich Scheufele and his wife Christine, accompanied by Chinese celebrities and members of the media from the region.
