Saturday Kids is a curiosity school for kids - we're on a mission to transform every child into a curious, self-motivated learner through digital literacy classes (and more!).
Beyond being Singapore's first coding school for kids, we also run Code in the Community www.codeinthecommunity.com, Singapore's largest free coding programme for kids from disadvantaged families with the support of Google and IMDA. Our mission's also taken us to pilot social impact programmes in Cambodia, Taiwan, Vietnam, and the Philippines. Since 2012, we've taught over 5,000 students how to learn through classes in programming, electronics, digital art and design thinking. And the adventure's only just begun!
Promotions: + Camp Curiosity Early Bird Special: Currently, parents who book a 5-day March-April holiday creative coding camp for kids ages 5-14 with us before Feb 23 save $60 off camp fees. No promo code required. www.saturdaykids.com/march-holiday-coding-camps/
+ Code in the Community Volunteer Recruitment: We're recruiting volunteers to teach coding to kids from under-privileged and at-risk backgrounds using the Saturday Kids curriculum. Classes are held at community centres and libraries all over Singapore on weekends, as well as at MOE schools on weekdays. Corporate volunteers are invited to get on board too! Training in classroom management and the specific curriculum will be provided. www.codeinthecommunity.com/volunteers
+ Saturday Kids Unplugged in Japan: Kids ages 4-12 are invited to go unplugged with us this Summer in Japan! Registration is open for our Outdoor Summer Camp in Karuizawa, Japan, this June. Designed to introduce kids to basic outdoor skills and the wonders of the wilderness, the 4 day camp is organised with EtonHouse Japan and will have kids heads over heels in love with nature.
