Extreme Beauty is a collage of impactful, exaggerated forms built in to a social commentary of the modern world's notion of beauty. Expect a varied tone and approach to the curatorial for this exhibition. The 10 selected artists will present visually arresting photographs, cogent illustrations and incisive performance art, that are at times disturbing, but always stunning examples of beauty, and social commentaries of the modern perceptions of beauty found in the places least expected. This conscientious and scrupulous walk-through promises to bring the viewer with a sense of truth. Beauty begets beauty, lets unravel its resonance and enjoy this sublime honesty of the works. Extreme Beauty is curated by Clifford Loh, a member of the Singapore Contemporary Young Artists Society.
