Backstage @ Dior Homme First Fashion Show in Beijing
By SENATUS Magazine | 7 May 2013

For the first time outside of Paris, Dior Homme staged its first runway show on Thursday in the Chinese capital of Beijing, showcasing its Fall Winter 2013 ready-to-wear collection at the Museum of the Central Academy of Fine Arts.

Attended by 600 guests which included VIPs, celebrities and media, the re-staged fashion show featured forty international models walking a curved staircase runway. 3 new Dior tuxedos limited to the Chinese market were also shown, with Dior Homme creative Director Kris van Assche adding:

"They’ll only be made in China, so that’s for sure... But it’s something I suggested we could do because we had the same show in January in Paris. It’s more interesting for everybody if we add something new."
