CHANEL Cruise 2014 Menswear Collection
By Men's Journal Online | 10 May 2013

No other fashion house whisks VIPs and other notable names to interesting locales around the world like Chanel. Quickly after the 2013 Costume Institute Ball, Chanel and by extension, Karl Lagerfeld, whisked models and celebrities onto a jumbo jet to fly for 18 hours to Singapore for the house's Cruise 2014 collection.

This collection was vast, with enough pieces to make even the most devout Chanel client roll his or her eyes into the back of their head. The tailoring was loose and 50s inspired with strong influences from Coco's history in the South of France. The menswear felt equally vintage-inspired with the calm and worry-free vibe of the upper class, with plenty of incredible, couture-quality, details.
