The RÊVASSEUR Fall/Winter 2014 collection featured in the Singapore Designers Showcase during Seoul Fashion Week, entitled "Villains" was inspired by the sinister and 'don’t-mess-with-me' attitudes of some of designer Gilda Su’s favourite Disney Villains : Queen Grimhilde who is stepmother to Snow White, Cruella de Vil who is obsessed with fur, Ursula who stole a princess mermaid’s voice, and Maleficent who is the Mistress of Evil.

Growing up under the big influences of Disney cartoons, Gilda was more attracted to these mean characters than the Disney Princesses. While friends were gushing over the pretty princess dresses, Gilda was more interested in the crooked smiles, smooth voices and the wonderful accessories, capes and coats that these witches wore. The Villains FW14 collection is a look at these wicked characters who are cool, confident and strong, with plenty of swag and devil-may-care outlook on life.

이번 RÊVASSEUR Fall/Winter 2014 컬렉션은 디자이너 Gilda Su 가 가장 좋아하는 디즈니 악당들, 백설공주의 계모 그림힐다여왕 Queen Grimhilde, 퍼에 집착하는 크루엘라 드 빌 Cruella de Vil, 인어공주의목소리를 빼앗은 우르슬라 Ursula, 잠자는 숲속의 미녀속악녀인 말레피선트 Maleficent 의 사악함과 악랄함에서 영감을 받았다.

어렸을 때 디즈니를 보며 자라온 디자이너 길다 수는 디즈니 공주보다는 악한 캐릭터에 더 매력을 느꼈다. 친구들이 공주들의 드레스에 감탄할 때 길다는 마녀들의 사악한 미소, 차분한 목소리, 화려한 액세러리와 복장에 더 매력을 느꼈다. 이번 Villains FW14 컬렉션은 쿨하고 자신감 넘치며 강하고 ‘swag’ 가 있는 악한 애티튜드를 지닌 캐릭터를 충분히 느낄 수 있다.
