Amato by Furne One Provides Dramatic Finale to Fashion Forward showcase in Dubai

Set to the tunes of Bollywood songs, Amato by Furne One provide a dramatic finale to the 3rd edition of the three-day twice-yearly Fashion Forward (FFWD) held at the Madinat Arena in Dubai, UAE. Filipino designer Furne One and his Amato label had just showcased his Fall/Winter 2014/2015 collection at New York Fashion Week, which drew inspiration from the travels of Alexander the Great through Persia, Egypt and India.
Bright reds, emeralds, shades of blue and stark yellow stood out on fabrics that included French lace to tulle and satin to organza, on the 36-piece collection that was embellished in sequins and crystals and flowers. His accessories also stood out, with giant earrings as well as a unique take on Indian headwear.
Fittingly, the FFWD event ended with a standing ovation for for one of the UAE’s most gifted designers.
