CHANEL Stages "Paris-Dallas" Metiers d’Art Runway Show in Tokyo
By SENATUS News | 7 June 2014

The leading French luxury house reprised its Metiers d'Art runway show on 4 June Wednesday on the fifth floor of the Toranomon Hills complex, a skyscraper located near Tokyo's Shimbashi business district. CHANEL staged two runway shows in the custom built Texas-style saloon set with comfy leather sofas and armchairs, with one in the afternoon and another in the evening to accomodate top clients and local fashion editors.

"Japan has always been a key market for Chanel ... our customers are still very loyal [to] the brand," said Bruno Pavlovsky, the president of fashion at CHANEL.

Adding to the glamour of the occasion were G-Dragon, Jerry Hall, Yu Yamada, Mika Nakashima, Mesa Kuroki and Alice Dellal whom we recall fondly from the CHANEL Boy campaign.
