Rotonde Reversed Tourbillon Calibre 9458 MC
By SENATUS Watches & Jewelry | 6 December 2014

The new Rotonde De Cartier Reversed Tourbillon watch, a model that unites a traditional fine watchmaking movement, with a modern, graphic design. It features an entirely reconstructed movement, inverted and skeletonized to display its reversed tourbillon on the dial side.

The timepiece unveiled pre-SIHH 2015, is fitted with a caliber 9458 MC, features a semi-openworked dial that completely discloses the flying tourbillon and a part of the movement that protrudes beneath minimalistic bridges. The dial of this watch is finished in the tradition of guilloché work, which radiates from its off-centered axis. To highlight its graphic identity the functions of the watch are stripped to just the hours, minutes and seconds. The majestic 60-second flying tourbillon, with the Cartier C-shaped carriage, appears nestled in the hollow of the seconds aperture.
