Kristen Stewart Fronts CHANEL Spring/Summer 2015 Campaign
By SENATUS News | 7 April 2015

Karl Lagerfeld photographs American actress Kristen Stewart for CHANEL's Spring/Summer 2015 campaign for its eyewear collection, shot in a minimalist setting, against a grey backdrop.

The French luxury labels sunglasses reinterpret the pilot frame of the 1970s: their newly stretched lines encircled with chains and their anti-UV tinted lenses graduating to transparency. Others draw inspiration from the jewellery so dear to Gabrielle Chanel and combine, on the temples of the cat eye frames, pearls and cabochons set in metal and rhinestone. XL butterfly forms play with 3D effects and a kaleidoscope of psychedelic tweed recreated in multi-coloured acetate.

The optical frames, sober and elegant, are streaked with fine stripes on a rounded rectangular masculine-feminine model or adorned with details borrowed from the BOY CHANEL bag, like the iconic lock on the temples of a pantos shape.
