A symbol of prestige and leadership, the Rolex Day-Date carries natural authority. Introduced in 1956, it stood out as a milestone in the history of watchmaking. Never before had a watch indicated the day of the week spelt out in full in an aperture on the dial.

The day display is offered in a choice of 26 languages, in keeping with the watch’s universal stature. Exclusively available in precious metals – gold or platinum – the Day-Date has become renowned as the "presidents' watch''.
