Two decades after the Boxster model range first debuted in 1996, Porsche launched the latest generation of its mid-engine roadsters on 30 June in Singapore, with more than 400 Porsche owners and members of the media invited to 60s-themed party invited to the officially unveiling at the Infinite Studios Sound Stage, with a 60s-themed party.

The new models are named 718 Boxster and 718 Boxster S, paying tribute to the 718 race car, the iconic legend that was born in 1953 and took the 1960s by storm by claiming over 1,000 racing victories across the globe from Sebring to Targa Florio to Le Mans.
