Cristiano Ronaldo Scores 600th Career Goal in Real Madrid's Triumph at UEFA Champiosn League Final
By SENATUS Magazine | 4 June 2017

Last evening, the 2016/17 European season came to a close with Real Madrid beating Juventus 4-1 in the final of the UEFA Champions League played at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, Wales.

Real Madrid’s victory was the 12th time that the Spanish club has lifted Europe’s premier trophy since the inception of the competition in the 1955/56 season. Cristiano Ronaldo became the first player to score in three Champions League Finals, striking twice and marking 600 career goals -- although he is still behind the record of 5 set by Alfredo di Stefano in European Cup Finals between 1956 and 1960.

The Portuguese captain has been on the winning side in four Champions League Finals – one with Manchester United in 2008 and the other three over the last four seasons with Real Madrid.
