Today the Duchess joined children and families to celebrate the work of London charity Rugby Portobello Trust, which provides its local community with crucial support, including those affected by the Grenfell Tower fire.
The Duchess took part in a Christmas party for the 'Magic Mums' group at the Rugby Portobello Trust's (RPT) community centre today. The 'Magic Mum's group aims to support mothers, babies and toddlers.
RPT helps local young people to build their community by providing facilities, skills, activities and guidance that promote a stable society in a deprived area. Through a range of activities RPT gives stability and encouragement in lives that are often blighted by deprivation and crime.
The Trust runs programmes for children and parents such as homework clubs, sporting activities, social groups and tuition.
They offer child, youth, parenting and community support. In Children Services, children aged between 3 and 12 learn through play and sport about community, teamwork and the great possibilities of life.
The Rugby Portobello Trust charity has also been instrumental in offering support to people affected by the Grenfell Tower fire, giving former residents access to grants and private donations, and helping with their new accommodation.
The Duchess met privately with families affected by the Grenfell fire. The Christmas party today was held for the children involved in the tragedy that took place earlier this year, where 71 people were killed in the fire that broke out in the 24-storey apartment building.
Today The Duchess was back in another one of her beautiful maternity coats already in her wardrobe.
The 'Marina' maternity coat by Seraphine was a popular piece that many hoped to see her in again. It is still available for £275/$366, and is described as "wool tweed bouclé with a touch of sparkle" with "frayed trim & black velvet ribbon detailing". You can wear this coat when you're not pregnant too, they just advise you to go for a size down than normal.
Kate wore this during her pregnancy with Charlotte back in December of 2014, when she and William were paying a visit to New York. She owns six Seraphine dresses and coats.
Kate also wore her Tod's black suede block heel pumps, originally £335/$450 but now sold out.
She carried her trusty black suede Mulberry clutch and wore her Asprey 167 button earrings with pavé diamonds and amethyst in the centre, available for £3,600/$4,800.
