To celebrate the timeless modernity of the iconic Lady Dior, a dedicated pop-up has opened in ION Orchard, Singapore.
A symbol and a legend, the Lady Dior appeared for the first time on the arm of Lady Diana and has since enjoyed an extraordinary destiny. With architectural lines exalting the cannage motif, it is a concentration of the House’s excellence. Over the years, this icon has blossomed in a multitude of colors, sizes and exceptional materials. Its rebirth, season after season, today is driven by the creative vision of Maria Grazia Chiuri.
For the Autumn-Winter 2021-2022 women’s ready-to-wear collection, the Lady Dior is revealed in a fully embroidered version named Lady D-Lite, designed by the Creative Director. Adorned with the “Christian Dior” signature, which completes its graphic style, and a matching shoulder strap, this essential adapts to every personality. It is available in timeless shades – such as black, gray or white – and also is reinvented in the Mizza motifs and ultra-glossy cannage this season.
Celebrating the virtuoso craftsmanship of the Dior Ateliers, these must-have designs come to life in Italy courtesy of the beauty of the gesture of the House’s petites mains. Their constantly renewed savoir-faire – such as three-dimensional embroidery – pushes the limits, while each detail, thought out with infinite meticulousness, shapes their singularity. As a final touch, they are adorned with delicate “Dior” charms, reminiscent of the talismans that Monsieur Dior, who was passionate about superstition, have always kept with him.
