Roger Federer and the new Rolex 1908
By SENATUS Magazine | 2 October 2023

Roger Federer stars in the visuals from Rolex, wearing the Swiss watch manufacture's new 1908 timepiece.

The name of the watch is a nod to the year 1908 when Hans Wilsdorf founded the Rolex, transforming the history of watchmaking with his innovative vision for a precise and reliable wristwatch.

This quest for excellence continues today, helping to improve the superlative performance of Rolex watches. Building on these technological advances, the 1908 upholds the aesthetic boldness of its origins.

Through this timepiece, the Manufacture rises to the challenge of slenderness. The ultimate harmonious watch in a slim 39mm case in 18 ct gold features an intense white dial graced with Arabic 3, 9 and 12 numerals and faceted index hour markers.

It is crowned with a bezel that is part domed and part finely fluted, and is fitted with a transparent back.
