Mary Katrantzou takes on role as inaugural Creative Director of Leather Goods and Accessories for Bulgari

Bulgari is appointing designer Mary Katrantzou as its inaugural Creative Director of Leather Goods and Accessories, marking an exciting chapter in the illustrious 140-year journey of the Roman Jeweller.

“I’m deeply honoured to be the first Creative Director of Bulgari Leather Goods and Accessories, leading the creative vision for this new chapter and elevating everyday life in the form of art,” shared Mary Katrantzou. “The rich cultural heritage and dual Greco-Roman roots of Bulgari have played an integral part in my formation as a designer.”

In her new role, Katrantzou will helm the creative direction behind Bulgari’s leather goods and accessories, including the esteemed High Jewellery collection of bags and clutches. Katrantzou’s debut collection as Creative Director will be available at Bulgari boutiques globally in August 2024.

Katrantzou first partnered with Bvlgari in 2019 as part of her Spring/Summer 2020 couture show, later expanding her collaborations with the Maison through the Serpenti and Omnia collections
