The ARCEAU watch, designed by Henri d’Origny in 1978 for Hermès, embodies timeless elegance and versatility, featuring a round case with stirrup-shaped lugs that showcase a variety of highly creative and demanding artistic crafts.
The ARCEAU Mon Premier Galop watch highlights this craftsmanship through leather marquetry, silk threads, and miniature painting, celebrating a range of skills. Its design, inspired by the Mon Premier Galop shawl created by artist Tong Ren, features a scene with a horse and a butterfly under a playful sun, capturing a moment of grace and movement in enamel, silk, and leather.
This intricate design is brought to life on a dial resembling a 30-piece jigsaw puzzle, with the sky and sun in enamel and the horse in silk and leather, all set against a radiant blue background.
The Arceau Mon Premier Galop is limited to 24 pieces. The white gold case is set with 82 diamonds and is powered by the Hermès H1912 movement. The sapphire case-back displays the craftsmanship inside, including a motif of “Hs” on the bridges and oscillating weight, complemented by a Zephyr blue Swift calfskin strap.
