Jaeger-LeCoultre unveils a stunning new addition to its iconic Reverso collection: the Reverso Tribute Geographic. Powered by the newly developed in-house Calibre 834, this timepiece reimagines the quintessential travel complication, elegantly displaying world time on the reverse dial. Available in both a classic steel case and an exclusive 18k pink gold version—limited to just 150 pieces—the Reverso Tribute Geographic marks a bold step forward in a legacy of innovation that has been at the heart of the Reverso since its inception in 1931.

A visual marvel from every angle, the Reverso Tribute Geographic seamlessly marries tradition with modern design. On the front dial, the understated elegance is achieved through a sunray finish in either a rich blue (for the steel model) or a deep chocolate (for the pink gold). This vibrant hue highlights the signature Reverso Tribute iconography, which includes a large date display framed in polished metal and a circular small seconds subdial, providing a dynamic contrast to the watch’s rectilinear lines.

Turning the timepiece over reveals the heart of this sophisticated creation: the world time complication. The reverse dial is a masterpiece of design and craftsmanship. For the steel version, shades of blue evoke a cool, crisp tone, while the pink gold model exudes warmth, with black and grey details providing a striking contrast. The world time display is a visual tour de force, set against a polished caseback and structured across three distinct levels to create depth. The city names are meticulously engraved into the caseback, with a rotating 24-hour ring marking day and night, and at the center, a lacquered and laser-engraved map of the world—complete with raised landmasses and meridian lines—creates a captivating, three-dimensional effect.

This intricate map is created using a combination of traditional lacquering and modern laser engraving techniques. The oceans are hollowed out with a laser, and then lacquer is carefully applied by hand in controlled drops to fill the depressions. After the piece is polished, the final result reflects the light in a manner that adds to the timepiece’s visual depth and sophistication.

The Reverso Tribute Geographic is presented with two interchangeable straps crafted by Casa Fagliano, the renowned Argentinian maker of polo boots. The steel model features a combination of leather and canvas, inspired by Fagliano’s summer polo boots, while the pink gold version boasts elegant calfskin and black alligator options. This remarkable piece not only celebrates Jaeger-LeCoultre’s rich heritage but also cements the Reverso’s status as a symbol of enduring elegance and innovation.
