Montblanc’s latest creation, the Bohème Perpetual Calendar, is a poetic tribute to the spirit of la femme bohème—independent, imaginative, and endlessly expressive. Conceived as both a timepiece and a work of art, it embodies creativity in every refined detail.
Housed in a 36mm case, offered in either a luminous bi-metal of stainless steel with 18K rose gold or a full 18K rose gold edition, the watch carries four elegant subdials that track day, date, month, leap year cycle, and moon phases. In a subtle nod to Montblanc’s literary heritage, three of these indications appear in handwriting-inspired typography, infusing the mechanics with a personal, artisanal touch.
The dial is a vision of starlit romance: thousands of micro-diamonds meticulously aligned and treated with a metallic PVD coating form a flat grey surface that shimmers like a night sky. At 6 o’clock, the moonphase unfurls on a disc rendered through serigraphy, recalling the soft washes of watercolor painting. Around it, floral Arabic numerals and rose gold-coated leaf hands bloom with feminine grace.
Encircling the scene is a white-silver hour track with the maison’s filé d’étoiles motif, a design inspired by long-exposure astrophotography. The 18K rose gold bezel sparkles with 60 brilliant-cut diamonds, transforming function into radiance, precision into jewelry.
At its heart beats Montblanc’s calibre MB 29.15, with a 42-hour power reserve, ensuring the watch is as enduring as it is enchanting. Completing the ensemble, three interchangeable leather straps—beige, burgundy, or black—offer effortless versatility, making the Bohème Perpetual Calendar a companion for every chapter of life’s artistry.
