The Breguet Reine de Naples 9935 debuts a new era of celestial sophistication
By SENATUS Magazine | 29 December 2025

To honor the two hundred and fiftieth anniversary of the Manufacture, Breguet unveils a masterpiece that reimagines the very first wristwatch ever designed.

The Reine de Naples 9935 emerges as a poetic tribute to the night sky, featuring a significantly enlarged moon phase that commands the upper dial after the removal of the traditional power reserve indicator.

For the first time, this iconic oblong silhouette is cast in the warm glow of Breguet gold and adorned with six pear shaped diamonds set between applied Arabic numerals. The most striking variation pairs deep blue aventurine glass with an iridescent layer of Tahitian mother of pearl to create a play of light reminiscent of the aurora borealis.

Beneath the sapphire caseback, an oscillating weight in 950 platinum reveals a hand guilloché Petit Trianon motif, ensuring that the watch is as much a mechanical marvel as it is a high jewelry treasure
