Nike celebrated the 40th anniversary of their Cortez shoes at the Limited Edt Chamber at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands. The final leg of the celebration that had also took place in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines, 8 personalities and artists from each country were invited to customise a pair of Nike Cortez. For Singapore, the 8 personalities invited for this initative were female marathoner and Nike athlete, Anne Qihui; Singapore bag designer, Ling Wu; Sneaker-head Sebastian Tay, Visual artist Luthfi Mustafah (a.k.a. The Killer Gerbil); Head of Entertainment of Zouk, Wayne Lee, Rap artist Sheikh Haikel, Creative Director of Lo&Behold Grop Mriz Sidah and Singapore’s 1st female professional Mixed Martial Arts fighter, Nicole Chua.

Hosted by radio ex-deejay Daniel Ong, the upbeat and casual event also saw the behind-the-scenes footage of the customisation workshop that the 8 personalities attended that was conducted by Mark Ong from SBTG.

The 8 pairs are on display from now till the 15th July 2012 at Limited Edt Chamber, B2-23, Canal Level, The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands.
