As financial reports have been increasingly suggesting a struggling future for BlackBerry, and as the world has started assuming that the company was losing the smartphone race, BlackBerry decided to fight back by releasing the P’9981, a new stylish handset exclusively conceived by Porsche Design.

ซึ่งตัวแทนจาก Harrods ได้เปิดเผยว่า สมาร์ทโฟนสุดหรูรุ่นนี้ ขายดีเป็นเทน้ำเทน้ำ และจำหน่ายหมดลงอย่างรวดเร็วในแต่ละวัน สำหรับราคาจำหน่ายนั้น อยู่ที่ 2,000 เหรียญสหรัฐฯ หรือประมาณ 60,000 บาทเลยทีเดียว
