The Bacardi Singapore Cocktail Search
By SENATUS News | 6 October 2012

Bacardi, famously the world’s most awarded spirit, is on the lookout for Singapore’s next signature drink with the Bacardi Singapore Cocktail Search aiming to bring together different cultures and personalities within Singapore to create cocktails that best represent the Singaporean spirit.

By partnering three different local personalities: musician Dee Kosh, footballer Terence Leonardo Ong, and entrepreneur Jon Yongfook Cockle with three of Singapore’s finest bartenders: Thanutphol Arj-Han (Nath) of the Tippling Club, Anthony Zhong from Jigger & Pony, and Ethan Leslie Leong of Maison Ikkoku, their brief was to create new signature drinks with the Bacardi Superior Rum that are based off their own lifestyle in Singapore as inspiration.

The search is now open to the public on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/bacardi) and on the ground polling stations where people of legal drinking age will be able to sample the drinks and vote for their favourite. On November 6, 2012, Singapore’s voice will be heard and the cocktail that garners the highest number of votes will be crowned the new Singapore signature drink.
