CHANEL Re-Invigorates the Première Watch with New Collection
By SENATUS Magazine | 7 April 2013

The “Première” was the first CHANEL watch to be created, in 1987. In 2013, the French luxury label launches a re-imagined collection, drawing its identity from an articulated bracelet formed by graphic interlocking links. Its rectangular shape with cut corners is an echo of mademoiselle CHANEL’s tastes for simplicity.

The proportions echo the stopper of N°5 (it's fragrance) and are reminiscent of the Place Vendôme, where the couturier once lived and where the CHANEL fine jewellery flagship store now stands.
