What do you do when you’re tired of Phuket parties and just want some peace and quiet on your own? The big hotel chains seem too overwhelming and the boutique-y villas may not have the level of service for your discerning tastes?

Check in Andara Resorts.

Nestled in a lush hilltop set above secluded Kamala Beach, the newly opened Andara Resorts and Villa Phuket provides a quiet retreat with stunning views of the Andaman Sea.

Andara, which means “star of Andaman”, consists of 26 pool villas and 37 residential suites, and most rooms come with unblocked views of the Andaman sea. The boutique resort is designed to blend in with nature, and the Thai-inspired designs and furnishings contribute to the organic feel of the place. The tranquil surroundings contribute to one’s sense of well-being, and the hospitable Thai staff ensure that one is always well-taken care of.

The boutique resort comes with pool villas and residential suites, all generously-sized and self-contained, whether for individuals looking for a quiet retreat, couples looking for a romantic holiday or families looking for a fun gathering place. Meetings, corporate retreats, weddings can also be arranged. Large open spaces mean that there is plenty of room for large-group activities.

The pool villas, available from 3, 4, 5 and 6 bedroom villas, and ranging in size from 1,200 m2 to 2,500 m2, come with full-time housekeeping services and your own private chef. Residential suites, available in 1, 2, 3 and 4 bedroom configurations, and ranging in size from 240 m2 to 890 m2, also feature spacious living and dining areas, and include a fully equipped kitchen. The décor is Thai-inspired, with a blend of natural woods, stone, and luxurious Jim Thompson silks. State of the art equipment such as 52-inch television screens and Bose sound systems provide a complete entertainment experience for those who choose to stay indoors.

All villas and pool residential suites come with their own infinity pools but visitors can also use the resort’s larger pool. Other facilities include a spa, gym and tennis courts. Guests can also catch a ride to Andara’s Beach Club where they can bask in the sun or play in the sea at Kamala beach. Daily activities such as yoga and pilates classes, cooking classes and child-friendly activities are but some of the activities provided by the resort. Excellent Thai and international cuisine are available in the restaurant, Silk, and guests can even get their wine from an in-house wine cellar.

For guests who choose to venture out of the resort, transportation can be easily arranged. World-class golf courses, shopping, and Patong beach are about 10-30 minutes drive away. The resort also owns two ltalian-designed luxury motor yachts that can be chartered for private cruises.

Andara Phuket is truly the place for a quiet retreat, to rest the body, soul and mind.
