Bottega Veneta has now rocked another industry first; well, the first being the only luxury brand to quit all its social media channels.
The Italian label is notable by its current absence on anything and everything ranging from Instagram, Facebook to even LinkedIn.
Clearly, Bottega Veneta is supremely confident of its products, positioning and brand equity that it does not need amplification provided by social media.
Now, driven and inspired by a commitment to exceptional materials and the preservation of outstanding craft, Bottega Veneta announces a new, unique service: the Certificate of Craft.
The complimentary care service cements the enduring quality of Bottega Veneta’s distinctive craftmanship.
Equal to a lifetime warranty programme, the Certificate of Craft offers unlimited refresh and repair on its iconic bags.
“Bottega Veneta is extraordinary craft with exquisite design and creativity. The Certificate of Craft is born out of a desire to offer our clients a superior service of long-term preservation of their products” says Bottega Veneta CEO, Leo Rongone.
With the Certificate of Craft, Bottega Veneta aims to further encourage the multi-generational wear of its products.
“We focus on responsible growth. Our intention is to maintain products in use for longer, reducing the need for replacement” says Leo Rongone.
Presented as a physical card that associates with the serial number of a singular product, the Certificate of Craft is offered in boutiques starting this November.
Living by the notion that the most elevated form of luxury requires time, the Certificate of Craft embodies Bottega Veneta’s founding principles.
“Our vision remains consistent with the one of our founders. They wanted Bottega Veneta to represent the most elevated and refined form of luxury. We count days, not hours, to make our products. They are designed to last forever” says Leo Rongone.
