Breitling has released a new petite version of its Chronomat model, sized at 28 mm. The Chronomat 28 underscores Breitling’s dedication to fashion and function, in the form of versatile sporty-chic watches for all occasions.
Available in either stainless-steel or mixed-metal duotone Rouleaux bracelet, Breitling’s slimmest Chronomat yet comes with a variety of dial options, but all bear the signature raised rider tabs at the 15-minute marks on the bezel.
Redefined and slender, the Chronomat 28 is an elegant take on the ’80s classic, now with a variety of sleek dial options available. Each is made with sustainable and traceable lab-grown diamonds.
Dial options include mother-of-pearl in blue or pink with lab-grown-diamond indexes, stainless steel with a black mother-of-pearl dial and a lab-grown-diamond-set bezel and indexes, and two-tone stainless steel and 18 K red gold. The comfortable butterfly folding clasp seals the deal on this SuperQuartzTM Caliber 72–powered chronometer, certified by the Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres (COSC).

The new Chronomat 28 also bears Breitling’s Origins label after the Swiss luxury watchmaker spent the last few years transitioning from mined to lab-grown diamonds. Watches bearing the Origins label feature precious materials traceable to producers who have been selected for their responsibility to their employees, the local community, and the environment.
By March 2026, Breitling intends for all products to carry this level of certainty regarding the traceability of source materials.
