Bugatti Veyron Fbg by HERMES

Having a long tradition of providing luxurious leather interiors for Ettore Bugatti's high performance cars, the Hermes-Bugatti collaboration on the cutting-edge Bugatti Veyron is only the next logical step.

The new Hermes-designed Bugatti Veyron, the world's most fascinating car, redefines the limits of physical engineering and delivers an entirely new driving experience.

Performance
The combination of the finest motor-racing technology and easy handling for everyday driving makes this car high on the wish lists of enthusiasts around the world. Drawing from cutting-edge aeronautical and aerospace technologies, the Bugatti Veyron FBG is the fastest car ever made for production. Capable of a jaw-dropping 1001 horsepower, the revolutionary engine features sixty-four valves and is powered by four turbochargers and sixteen cylinders, allowing the Veyron to deliver astonishing speed of up to 407 km/h.

More powerful than any F1 machine, this supercar accelerates from 0 to 104 km/h in a mere 2.5 seconds. Its braking system also establishes a new industry benchmark. Carbon-fibre discs yield up to 180 bars of brake pressure, along with eight-piston monobloc callipers. At speeds above 199 km/h, braking the car causes the rear wing to act as an airbrake, rising to an angle of 113 degrees in 0.4 seconds, giving the car unrivalled powers of deceleration. Emergency brakes bring this sports car from up to 400km/h to a complete stop within 10 seconds.

Design
With great style and precision, the Bugatti Veyron redefines the pleasure of driving. Step into the Veyron and be greeted by the sleek Bugatti insignia on the steering wheel. With magnificent Hermes-designed furnishings, know that the Veyron offers only the finest in luxury driving. Ultimate attention has been lavished on the interior and exterior alike, and no consideration has been spared in the Veyron's splendid aesthetics and performance.

Can't decide between figure hugging sports seats or indulgent luxury seats? Customizable to your every preference, handmade leather interiors by luxury fashion house Hermes line the expanse of its interior. The dashboard, seats and panel separating the cockpit from the central rear engine are sheathed entirely in bull calfskin, wrought in Paris by Hermes.

The colour of the hood, fully customizable, extends to the cockpit interior and re-appears behind at the rear wing level, creating a seamless transition between the Veyron's interior and exterior facade. Its eight-spoked wheels gleam in high polished aluminium, its wheel locks feature the letter 'H', and the air vents near the rims display the classic Hermes saddle-stitching design.

As you insert the special Bugatti key before ignition, allowing the Veyron to prime its suspension and aerodynamics for top speed mode, know also that this fastest car in the world is also the one of the easiest to drive. With its superb traction and high performance aerodynamics package, the Veyron allows for outstanding handling and power. The Veyron's sophisticated safety mechanism also affords an exceedingly pleasurable and controlled driving experience. The Bugatti Veyron's sleek yet powerful silhouette, state-of-the-art engineering and design bear testimony to the innovative engineering and luxury of Hermes and Bugatti.

The French design powerhouse may be famous for its top-end handbags and scarves, but its work on the Bugatti Veyron has proven revolutionary. The roots of personal friendship between Emile Hermes and Ettore Bugatti have now blossomed into a modern industrial design project and a crucial segment of Bugatti's new individualisation programme.

The new Bugatti Veyron Fbg by Hermes stands proudly as a milestone in Bugatti's renaissance, and as the culmination of this exciting and promising partnership.
