Host of the evening, Cultural Medallion Award Winner Dick Lee, sang, entertained and staged a talkshow-style question and answer session with Ms Linda Teo and the founder of Carrie Models, former model, Ms Carrie Wong-Perrodo as guests were brought through a walk down memory lane.

In a tribute to Carrie Models 35 glorious years in the business, ex supermodels Ethel Fong, Pat Krall, Ivy Chng, Gurmit, Sally Gill, current supermodels Amber Xu, Jocelyn Luko, Anthony Sandstrom and Sheila Sim, as well as long-time clients FJ Benjamin, The Link and CK Tangs turned up in full force to support the occasion.

Throughout the 5-course dinner, guests got visual treats in the forms of a fashion show featuring Malaysian designer Farah Khan’s latest collection modelled by Carrie models, a photo montage of the agency’s achievements, a unique Bhangra dance segment and a surprise drag song and dance segment. After dinner, the party continued through the night as guest DJs Chris Ho, Brandon Barker and Dick Lee took over the music booth, spinning to a crowd of old friends who did not want to call it a night.

Finally, the party came to a close at 3am with Ian Chee performing on the piano and the happy guests singing along, celebrating Linda and Carrie Models’ success as the only agency in Singapore and Asia Pacific to have agencies in Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.
