Deva Cassel is the new Ambassador for fashion creations by Maria Grazia Chiuri, Artistic Director for Dior Women’s Collections, and is the new face of makeup by Creative and Image Director Peter Philips.
Born in Rome in 2004, Deva Cassel grew up in France, Italy and Brazil. A polyglot who speaks no fewer than five languages, she developed, from a very young age, a great sensitivity for the arts, inherited from her parents Monica Bellucci and Vincent Cassel. She is passionate about singing and painting, and has taken drama classes since early childhood. Her artistic temperament naturally led to her taking an interest in the world of images, which she discovered and explored through the prism of fashion, beginning her modelling career at the age of 16. She was soon appearing on the cover of the biggest international magazines and walking the Fashion Week runways, becoming one of the most high-profile top models.
An up and coming figure of her generation who is confident and glowingly beautiful, Deva Cassel rules nothing out – and in parallel to her modelling career, she decided to follow in her parents’ footsteps. In September 2023, she took her first steps as an actor, directed by Laura Luchetti in the film La Bella Estate, in which she plays the role of a painter’s muse in the 1930s. Hailed for this first role, she will also be appearing in the Italian series The Leopard, in September. Produced by Netflix, the series is adapted from the novel The Leopard, by Giuseppe Tomasi de Lampedusa, and is inspired by the eponymous Luchino Visconti film.
