Jaeger-LeCoultre adds to its already-impressive and renowned Master Ultra Thin line, three new limited editions featuring complications among the most emblematic of watchmaking expertise – moon phases, tourbillon, date, and perpetual calendar. Adorned in white gold with dials in midnight blue enamels, these three limited editions are a testament to the manufacture's drive towards precision and sophistication.
Master Ultra Thin Tourbillon Enamel
The first is the new Master Ultra Thin Tourbillon Enamel boasting a new tourbillon movement and a new-look date counter, and is produced in a limited series of 50 pieces.
On the inside, the famed Jaeger-LeCoultre Caliber 978 and on the dial, a delightfully-finished& sunray-effect. Without a doubt, the centrepiece is the tourbillon, fittingly placed in an aperture at six o'clock.
A product crafted by the artists and artisans of the Manufacture's Rare Handcrafts ("Métiers Rares®"), the Master Ultra Thin line is superlative in every way. From the hand-guilloché dial that blends in with a beautiful blue enamel background, to the perfectly proportioned white gold case, with its 40 mm diameter. Or perhaps the slender hour markers, specially redesigned for this limited edition, like a natural extension of timeless and understated Dauphine hands.
Master Ultra Thin Perpetual Enamel
Four internal apertures that are the embodiment of watchmaking complications, come together on a blue enamel guilloché motif on the new Master Ultra Thin Perpetual Enamel. This ultra-thin piece has seen a reimagining of its famous Jaeger-LeCoultre Caliber 868, one of the manufacture's most emblematic creations, and is only presented in 100 pieces.
The new and original display of its perpetual calendar (day at 3 o'clock, date at 9 o'clock, month and year at 12 o'clock) simultaneously indicates the moon in both the Northern and Southern hemispheres.
The moon phase is enhanced by a new design, including an engraved counter.
Lengthened hour-markers specifically developed for these three editions catch the eye with their stretched-out silhouette, elegantly blending in with the guilloché blue enamel dial. In addition, the intense and luminous blue of the new and perfectly geometrical guilloché dial on an ultra-thin case goes well with the deep blue of the matching alligator strap.
With the help of ancestral tools, some of which were produced on site at the Grande Maison, artisans use their hands to enamel, polish, refine, enhance and carry out guilloché work on dials, movements and complications, in accordance with age-old processes, solidifying Jaeger-LeCoultre's reputation as an essential watchmaking Manufacture.
Master Ultra Thin Moon Enamel
The new hand-guilloché blue enamel dial, new hour-markers, a new polished moon, and a new engraved counter come together in the new Master Ultra Thin Moon Enamel, available in a limited series of 100 pieces.
Its extremely thin case in white gold (10.04 mm) conceals its engine, the Jaeger-LeCoultre Caliber 925, an automatic mechanical movement with a 70-hour power reserve.
The Master Ultra Thin Moon Enamel features a new moon phase setting - When the moon is full, its perfectly round and polished white disk comes to rest on an exquisite stellar background.
