Jaguar F-PACE Defies Gravity with Loop-the-Loop Stunt in Shanghai

5 April 2017

By Scott Campbell

The All-new Jaguar F-PACE defied gravity once again on the world's largest Loop-the-Loop earlier this month in Shanghai, China.

This Guinness World Record breaking stunt, performed by English stunt driver, Terry Grant, was designed to showcase the all-round performance - lightweight design, agility and sports car speed of the brand's first SUV.

Both the F-PACE and Grant had to withstand a 6.5 g-force to successfully navigate the 360 degree, six-storey loop with a width of only 13 ft.

The Jaguar F-PACE is an SUV with the soul of a sports car," said Ian Callum, director of design for Jaguar.

"When we created this car we thought differently; we took a Jaguar sports car and made it family friendly. The F-PACE exudes performance yet you can fit five people and all their belongings in it.

This is a car for people who love driving, who love design and who love technology – this is the ultimate practical sports car."
