Since 2007, the TOP GUN collection has been part of the IWC Pilot's Watch collection and its distinction has been that in all models, the hour and minute hands, as well as the markings at "3", "6" and "9 o’clock" and the triangle at "12 o’clock", are luminescent remain legible even in poor visibility conditions.
In 2013, IWC Schaffhausen has announced three new iterations to its successful collection, namely the Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar, a Big Pilot’s Watch and a Pilot’s Watch Chronograph.
These new timepieces feature red, green and blue hands and indices. They are available in limited editions at IWC boutiques around the world, and in Singapore at the ION Orchard and Marina Bay Sands from mid-July onwards.
The boutique editions are each housed in ceramic (zirconium oxide) cases, with the back and crown made of titanium and fitted with a black soft strap.
The Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar TOP GUN Boutique Edition (IW502903), with its red hands and indices, features a perpetual calendar with a four-digit year display, moon phase display and 7-day power reserve. The perpetual calendar takes into account all the leap years in the Gregorian calendar until 2100.

The Big Pilot’s Watch TOP GUN Boutique Edition (IW501903), with its green hands and indices, features the IWC-manufactured 51111 calibre, consisting of 311 components and 7 days power reserve. The front glass is secured against sudden drops in pressure in the cockpit.

The Pilot’s Watch Chronograph TOP GUN Boutique Edition (IW388003), with its blue hands and indices, offers protection against magnetic fields. The watch houses an IWC-manufactured 89365-calibre movement, featuring a 68-hour power reserve.
