Speeders beware! This is one police car you won't be able to get away from on the highway!
BOLOGNA-based Lambourghini recently donated a new Gallardo LP560-4 to the Italian State Police, replete with fancy car decals and police lights.
Equipped with all the necessary crime-fighting tools necessary for the modern day state trooper, the new police car is nothing short of spectacular.
A state of the art video recording system has been installed, allowing officers to record live evidence and transmit it wirelessly back to headquarters. Where you usually find luggage in the trunk is now replaced by gun racks, radio and medical aid equipment.
The Italian State Police aren't new to this: In fact, for the last 5 years, the Rome and Bolognese police have each been using a Gallardo, racking up 87,000 and 62,000 problem-free miles, respectively.
