The Tippling Club has been nominated as top 10 finalists across three categories in the 2017 Tales of the Cocktail’s Spirited Awards® – World's Best Cocktail Menu, International Bartender of the Year and Best International Restaurant Bar.
The finalists for each category were selected from over a thousand incredibly qualified nominations, by committees consisting of the industry’s most respected professionals and led by Spirited Awards® chairperson Charlotte Voisey
To kick things off, this is Tippling Club's third consecutive year as a finalist in the Best International Restaurant Bar category, attesting to its reputation as a top dining and drinking destination globally. The modern gastronomy restaurant helmed by chef-owner Ryan Clift has been putting forth innovative, ultra-progressive cuisine and cocktail pairings to the palates of local gastronomes since 2008.
Its bar offering the memory-triggering Sensorium Menu, an olfactory drinking experience that is delivered through 12 unique scents, is a finalist in the World's Best Cocktail Menu category, joining the ranks of reputed cocktail institutions from around the world, including London's The Savoy and New York City's The Dead Rabbit, among others.
Launched in September 2016 by head bartender Joe Schofield who joined Tipplong Club in early 2016, and chef-owner Ryan Clift, the aroma-forward menu has since won the plaudits of industry experts and bartending authorities alike, paving the way for Schofield as he takes his place among this year’s International Bartender of the Year top 10 contenders.
"The Sensorium Menu started as a simple idea a year ago, and has since evolved into a full-fledged cocktail programme that is truly one-of-a-kind.

The three Spirited Awards® nominations are the latest addition to Tippling Club’s growing mantel of bartending accolades, alongside four recent top billings in The Bar Awards Singapore for Best Restaurant Bar, Most Creative Cocktail Bar, Best Cocktail Bar, and Bartender of the Year; and an upcoming placement in Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2017, to be announced in the later half of June.
