The Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41 Edition “Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One™ Team” is the first official team watch IWC created in the long-standing partnership with the team.
The 41-millimetre Pilot’s Chronograph is crafted from lightweight and remarkably rigid grade 5 titanium. Offering the highest strength-to-density ratio of any metal, titanium is also widely used in automotive engineering to produce car parts subject to immense stresses, such as engine valves.
For the upcoming Miami Formula One Grand Prix taking place from 5 to 7 May, IWC has launched a new pink (Miami Pink) strap to add to the offering, celebrating the second edition of the annual Miami Grand Prix™ and its 10th anniversary as Official Engineering Partner of the Mercedes- AMG Petronas Formula One Team.
The watch will henceforth be sold with the original teal colored Petronas green rubber strap and the new Miami Pink strap together.
The entire Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One™ team will be wearing the pink strap version during the Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix 2023 whilst certain team members will also boast pink detailing on some of their accessories including the gloves and shoes for Lewis Hamilton and George Russell.
