On the occasion of the upcoming World Cup 2014 in Brazil, British designer Paul Smith has created a limited edition leather football, dubbed the "The Paul Smith Signature Stripe Football". Featuring his signature multicolored printed stripe motif, the ball comprises different chevron contrasting panels displaying zigzag patterns and graphic lines.
With only 250 manufactured, the item is available for £199 or €273.
The brand has also released a short film by young British director Oliver Hadlee Pearch, set in the designer’s Notting Hill boutique in London. The film features a stylized session of keepy-uppy from the suited and booted football freestyler John Farnworth.
