By SENATUS News | 6 July 2013

On Saturday 6 July, Marina Bay Sands provided an exclusive experience for VIPs of the resort, inviting international icon David Beckham to Singapore on a private meet-and-greet session. Beckham spoke about his retirement, gave advice on the sacrifices he made in order to achieve footballing success, on his family life and how to maintain a healthy schedule with the four children he has, especially given that both him and his wife work.

Beckham also indicated an interest in staying in football and is considering investing in an expansion franchise in the United States.

On Sunday, Beckham will participate in a "Sands for Singapore" charitable initiative, speaking with school children.
