The Lexus CT 200h experience begins in the ergonomically shaped, intuitive cockpit which features an LCD multi-display retractable screen, which showcases the Lexus Navigation System and is controlled by a state-of-the-art remote touch controller located in the ‘Operation Zone’ directly below the shift lever to ensure maximum comfort and ease of operation. 

Four ‘on-demand’ drive modes – EV, ECO, NORMAL and SPORT - are enhanced with complementary mood lighting that transforms the interior, particularly in the evenings. When switched to EV, ECO, and NORMAL modes, the interior illumination turns to blue, together with the cabin lighting. In these modes the meter features a Hybrid indicator system reflecting the reduction in the overall fuel consumption.

When switched to SPORT mode, the cabin lights turn red to signify the dynamic nature of the driving experience. The meter immediately switches from the Hybrid Indicator system to the tachometer to focus on the compact’s performance and agility. 

Superb engineering is the Lexus byword and it carries through to the new compact’s sleek, sweeping lines that mimic the natural flow of wind over and around the bodywork, creating an elegant design template that combines beauty with aerodynamic efficiency.

Particular attention has been paid to promote superior handling and agility through various proprietary and cutting edge technologies including Lateral Performance Dampers to reduce vibrations. 

The Lexus CT 200h reinforces the brand’s clear leadership in the development of full hybrid drive systems, with impressive, seamless acceleration and remarkably quiet operation together with world-leading fuel efficiency and the lowest possible carbon emissions.

Catch the Lexus CT 200h in a Symphony of Lights

In a first for Singapore, Lexus is utilizing leading edge projection mapping technology on a car to showcase the brand new Lexus CT 200h.

Members of the public will be treated to a spectacular 3D light show as various images are projected onto the new CT 200h, virtually bringing it  to life against dynamically shifting backdrops.

The unique presentation, which will run every 10 minutes, is part of the luxury brand’s “Progressive Luxury Experience” (PLE) which will take place at Paragon Shopping Centre Atrium, from April 29 (Friday) to May 2 (Monday) 2011.

Lexus will present all their Full Hybrids at the PLE: The brands’ flagship limousine LS Hybrid, the RX Hybrid SUV, GS Hybrid luxury sedan and of course the newly launched CT 200h – the world’s first full hybrid luxury compact.

Lexus has created a special theatre-style indoor enclosure to provide the optimal lighting conditions for the projection mapping presentation, which will be showcased every ten minutes during the PLE. It gives viewers the illusion of the Lexus CT 200h literally driving through various cityscapes while simultaneously morphing into an array of vibrant exterior colours. 

Parts of the show also present an x-ray view into the interior and engine of the compact, revealing how the advanced Lexus hybrid technology provides an innovative & socially responsible technology, whilst delivering a unique and luxurious driving experience. It also highlights nuances in the CT 200h’s design, which allow for greater aerodynamic performance, four distinct driving modes, fuel efficiency and low carbon emissions.

The launch of the Lexus CT 200h is the first in Singapore to harness this innovative projection display on cars. This reflects on the innovative design and technological advances incorporated into the Lexus philosophy of Progressive Luxury.
