A. Lange & Söhne unveils its first ever self-winding chronograph movement

27 March 2023

After six years of meticulous development, A. Lange & Söhne unveils its latest advancement in the art of precision watchmaking: the ODYSSEUS CHRONOGRAPH.

The brand's ambition to "never stand still" underscores its approach to watchmaking, continuously pushing the boundaries of what is possible in design and manufacturing.

This core belief has been manifested in the newly developed L156.1 DATOMATIC calibre, encased in stainless steel, is customised for novel applications, such as the innovative dynamic reset-to-zero function, which spectacularly resets the chronograph hands to zero.

Additionally, the unique and practical dual-function buttons, depending on the crown position, allow for easy use of the chronograph as well as the correction of the date and day of the week.

To further retain the characteristic dial design of the watch family, both chronograph hands – the minute counter with a lozenge-shaped tip and the red chrono seconds hand – are positioned in the centre.

The A. Lange & Söhne ODYSSEUS CHRONOGRAPH comes in a limited edition of 100 watches.
