Jonathan Liang Fall Winter 2014 | Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week Ready to Wear 2014
By Men's Journal Online | 27 June 2014

Cosmonaut. It’s the final frontier and the theme for Jonathan Liang’s fall-winter 2014 collection presented during Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week Ready to Wear 2014 last Friday. The Paris-based designer take an adventure starting from the Big Bang through the cosmos – a life of space suits worthy of Jane Fonda’s Barbarella.

This season the designer emphasis on effortless luxe with a touch of adaptableness. The Jonathan girl takes on bomber jacket made of Mohair to a high-waist skirt of wool, with an asymmetric sharp cuts and luxurious fabrics create a look that is essentially Jonathan Liang. The shape of the coats are oversized and boxy but maintain a sex appeal with peek-a-boo bras worn underneath lightweight tops. The silhouette is more lustrous and feminine than spring however. Finishing the look, the Jonathan girl dons an exclusive space age footwear made in collaboration with Nelissa Hilman.
